The Residents Association has an important role at Friendship Terrace . Every resident is a member and is welcomed to participate individually or through one of at least a dozen committees. As a new resident, you will be greeted and assisted by the volunteers of the Hospitality Committee.

The Residents Association arranges most of the entertainment and social functions, produces a monthly newsletter, and coordinates the volunteer services of residents. For example, the Association provides for a dinner check to be sure every resident is present or has signed out. The garden and greenhouse, the library, Saturday night movies, tours, religious services, games, the shopping services and the annual spring fair are all coordinated by the Residents' Association. Many of the residents help in some special way, applying their talents and experience, to make Friendship Terrace a responsive and caring community. It makes a big difference.
